Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting a website inquiry form, signing an online agreement, or making any payment for our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and KardWeb.

2. Services Provided

KardWeb specializes in configuring, designing, and developing modern websites. Our service packages typically include, but are not limited to:

• Website Design & Development: Custom design and setup of a professional, user-friendly, and responsive website.
• Domain Name Registration: Registration of one (1) new domain name (e.g., yourwebsite.com) on behalf of the Client, typically for one year. Renewal is the Client's responsibility unless explicitly stated otherwise.
• Website Hosting: Hosting setup to ensure your website is live and secure.
• Professional Email Setup: Configuration of a professional email address (e.g., contact@yourwebsite.com) associated with your domain.

Specific deliverables will be outlined in a separate Project Proposal provided to the Client.

3. Client Responsibilities

To ensure the successful completion of the project, the Client agrees to:

• Provide Content: Timely provide all necessary website content (text, images, logos). Delays in content submission will affect the project timeline.
• Timely Feedback: Provide prompt approvals at various stages of the development process.
• Information Accuracy: Ensure all information provided for domain registration and website content is accurate and truthful.

4. Payment Terms

• Advance Payment: A non-refundable advance payment of fifty percent (50%) of the total project cost is required to commence work.
• Final Payment: The remaining fifty percent (50%) is due upon completion of the website and before final handover or public launch.
• Refund Policy: The 50% advance payment is non-refundable. If KardWeb fails to deliver the agreed-upon services as outlined in the Proposal, the Client is entitled to a refund, determined on a case-by-case basis.

5. Ownership and Copyright

• Client Content: The Client retains full copyright and ownership of all text, images, and data provided to KardWeb.
• Website Design: Upon full and final payment, the Client will receive ownership of the completed website design and configuration.
• KardWeb Tools/Code: Any pre-existing proprietary tools, code snippets, or templates developed by KardWeb remain the property of KardWeb and are licensed for use within the Client's website.

6. Termination of Service

KardWeb reserves the right to terminate services if the Client breaches these Terms (e.g., non-payment, unreasonable delays, abusive behavior) after providing written notice. In such cases, the non-refundable advance payment will be retained.

7. Governing Law & Contact

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France.
